Peluang Kerjaya :  


1. Secretary to Director

   

Responsibilties:

  • Performs secretarial and administrative duties for the Director who she is assigned to so as to ensure the smooth operation and function of the department.
  • Schedule all regular and ad hoc meetings; prepare agendas for meetings; assist with background information and general information for meetings, and preparation of materials, equipment and refreshment.
  • Handle, manage and screen electronic communications ( e-mails, telephone & fax) and maintain Director’s  personal directory.
  • Proofread all documents and log into the e-log system before circulating.
  • Process and manage all written correspondences by recording distributing mails and follow up on the outgoing mail.
  • Perform work processing related duties, i.e. draft and type simple reply memos/letters, prepare presentation slides, typing and binding complex reports/documents, table and other confidential matters.
  • Compile  and maintain all non-confidential and confidential letters and documents for Director/section according to the i-sec .
  • Assist in the arrangements for Director’s official visits and trips for local and abroad destinations including handling all claims, travel ticket, hotel/accommodation, and visiting schedule.
  • Assist the Senior Officer in obtaining information through various channels such as internet, library, publication.
  • Perform relief duties effectively as Personal Assistant (PA)  to Assistant Governor during his PA’s absence;
  • Assist in the department’s daily operational and administrative activities such as data entry, work processing for other officers, filing, following up with the Maintenance Reporting System (MRS) , collect information & consolidate responses and monitoring & managing staff attendance/leave.


Requirements :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Secretarial Science from recognised institutions approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
  • Experience: Preferably 1 – 3 years of working experience in secretarial works
  • Other Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least 5 Credits in SPM including Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

2. First Level Executive, Payments Efficiency

   

ROLE PURPOSE:


Assist the Manager in developing strategic plans and policies for the overall development of the payment systems in accelerating the migration to electronic payments (e-payments) and to improve the efficiency of the payment systems.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Conduct research on strategic areas that would enhance the overall development of the payment systems.
  • Assist in developing strategic plans/policies to accelerate the migration to e-payments and improve efficiency of payment systems.
  • Keep abreast with the developments in the payment systems, both in the domestic and international markets to plan new and review existing strategies.
  •  Coordinate and work closely with relevant stakeholders for the implementation of various initiatives towards promoting the migration to e-payments as well as in achieving key performance indicators on e-payments.
  • Assist in planning a comprehensive and effective awareness and promotion programme for e-payments.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE :

  • Academic Qualification:  Degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Business Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience:  At least 1 years of experience in policy formulation, preferably in the field of payment system developments and regulations would be an advantage.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

  • Candidate must possess at least 5 Credits in SPM including Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

3. First Level Executive, Payment Systems Oversight (Payment Stability)

   

ROLE PURPOSE:


Assist in the oversight activities over the payment and settlement systems in Malaysia, with the objective to ensure the safety and reliability of payment systems and payment instruments and to safeguard public interest.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Develop, implement and review the regulatory and prudential framework for payment systems and payment instruments.
  • Undertake the surveillance on industry players, mainly to monitor and identify risks in payment systems/instruments; recommend and implement supervisory actions to address risks and/or non-compliances; and monitor the corrective actions by industry players to mitigate risks.
  • Implement the administration and enforcement of legislations and guidelines issued by the Bank, which include processing the applications to operate payment systems and/or issue designated payment instruments in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant laws, policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct research, monitor and analyse regulatory developments and trends in the region and globally with the view of ensuring the regulatory framework on the payment systems and instruments are effective to meet the needs of the country.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. regulatory/standard setting bodies and industry players) in conducting oversight activities, mainly to ensure a comprehensive and effective regulatory/prudential framework and supervisory activities.


SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE :

  • Academic Qualifications: Degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Business Studies or its equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience: Experience in the field of payment system developments and regulations would be an advantage.

4. First Level Executive, Strategic Communications Department

   

ROLE PURPOSE:


Assist in the development of, and implement effective and impactful communication strategies and solutions to create awareness, getting buy-in and strategic positioning of  the Bank and its initiatives in achieving the Bank’s desired outcomes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Act as a relationship manager to client departments that provides end-to-end communication services in the following three main areas :

1. Media Management
  • Propose and implement media and PR solutions to ensure key policies and initiatives are effectively communicated to the target stakeholders in a consistent, timely and credible manner.
  • Disseminate accurate and timely information to the media through press releases, press briefings, interviews, press conferences and queries, as well as ensuring accurate reporting by the media on Bank’s policies and initiatives.
  • Prepare response for media/public queries
  • Coordinate media briefings and press conferences

2. Issues Analysis
  • Monitor, collate and disseminate economic and financial development news/commentaries/issues relevant to client departments
  • Anticipate and appraise emerging issues  and alert management and client departments
  • Perform intelligence gathering and environmental scanning for accurate, credible and timely information/news as an input to develop pro-active communication strategies
  • Assist in drafting  key messages for senior management

3. Initiative/Project Management
  • Coordinate, implement and manage initiatives/projects to support and promote the Bank’s initiatives
  • Provide advisory services to client departments on appropriate communication solutions i.e. key messages/tagline, target audience, communication approach, communication medium, etc
  • Provide creative and editorial inputs for the development of promotional materials
  • Ensure communication materials produced e.g. collaterals, videos, press releases , advertisement s, etc. are in line with the Bank’s branding and corporate identity
  • Coordinate the appointment of creative agency/event management company. Ensure processes are in accordance to the Bank’s procurement. Effective communications and engagement with the Bank’s various stakeholders e.g. client departments, media, parliamentarians, analysts, fund managers, economist, event managers, creative agencies, etc.

SKILLS or KNOWLEDGE :

  • Academic Qualifications :  Degree or professional qualifications with economics, accounting, finance, legal or communications background.
  • Working Experience :  Central banking business/operations.  Experience in public relations and communications will be an added advantage.
  • Language  : Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English. Knowledge in other languages e.g. Mandarin, Tamil will be an added advantage.

  • Candidate must possess at least 5 Credits in SPM including Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.


5. Manager, Foreign Exchange Administration Departmen


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Evaluate, review and make recommendations on issues relating to foreign exchange administration to continuously promote competitiveness of the economy while maintaining financial and monetary stability in the changing global and domestic environment
  • Assess foreign exchange administration policies and provide recommendations on policy review to meet the changing business operating environment, global developments and national agenda
  • Plan and manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficient work process. This includes coaching and guiding subordinates in discharging their responsibilities
  • Analyse relevant data/research to develop policies and monitor its implementation to ensure effectiveness
  • Conduct research/bench learning to emulate good practices of other countries to ensure comprehensive policy recommendation
  • Advise and respond and act as resource person to foreign exchange administration issues raised by internal external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to subordinate to conduct research and development on emerging products and current issues
  • Build and foster networking with internal and external stakeholder to solicit input or feedback through market intelligence for policy formulation
  • Drive and participate in relevant project activities to ensure timely completion of the project
  • Conduct regular dialogue with Management of department to escalate issues and emerging trends
  • Identify and plan developmental needs of subordinates

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Masters Degree / Bachelor Degree or professional qualifications in Accounting, Economics, Banking or Finance
  • minimum CGPA of 3.00.
  • At least six (6) years of experience in compliance/risk management role in banking, finance, money exchange or remittance industry and has performed data analysis function/role in previous work.
  • Candidate must possess at least 5 Credits in SPM including Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
